Little village school

This little village school is in a beautiful valley and all the children - but there is not many - go to this school. The teacher is Miss Bunny and children just love her. She is always friendly and smiling, never yells or looks strict.

I have collected these school desks from Ebay, Tradera and Huuto.net. 6 is enough and I was wondering how to make my school. Then my father made this little house and I realized it is perfect to be a little village school. I still need books, pens, papers etc. Stuffed animal would be great too, but I have never seen one in miniature. Wall bars and the globe are also Lundby´s. The wall bars are from the gym set.

Oh no, this little pupil is late for school!

Others have already started today´s studies.

Bye bye little pupils, remember to study hard :)

Beatrix Potter closet&chair

These furniture had a makeover. I painted old Lundby closet and chair blue, cutted the pictures from glossy pictures and clued on. I am going to varnish these to get them little shiny and also the varnish protects the pictures I hope.

Bedroom make over

Hi,
I had a big change in Lundby Lisa bedroom, my retro-house. I have had this retro wallpaper (it is real 1:1 live wallpaper) for a long time. A couple of weeks ago I got fabrics, white and brown, that are like same serie with this wallpaper. Of course I just had to have a redocoration! The brown fabric I used only for the new stool cover, but maybe later I make a pillow or two on the bed. The white fabric I used for curtains and bed cover.

First I cutted cardboards suitable to the walls. Then I cutted the wallpaper and clued it into the cardboard. The pieces are so tight they will stay in places without any blu tack or other "help". I do not want to touch the original walls.

I used the wallpaper also for the bed end. I thought the red is too much now. This is also just the wallpaper clued on cardboard and then pushed in place, no clued to the bed.

Wellcome in!

The door had green drawings made by some little child. With adding the wallpaper in the door, I got almost all of the drawings hidden! I was very pleased with my self figured this idea :)

I like this door now :)

And the new cover for stool. This one I clued really on. But on the other hand, it is easy to rip off if needed and place the original stool cover back.

Close picture of the curtains. I made new window frames of tree and painted white. On the windowsill I can place some flowers (need to get some).

My daughter thinks I should have my own Esther :) She knows I follow Esther the wonder pig in Facebook. Esther is so lovely! Unfortunately this Esther went back to Emma´s dollshouse. It was just checking the new bedroom :)

What do you think about the new bedroom?

Thank´s for visiting!

My miniatures made at a dolls house course

Hi,
I had a lovely weekend because I was at a dolls house course. The teacher was talented Maria Malmström so I got very good advice.

I made chairs and one flower table.

1) Armchair "Egg". I made this of flower fabric, but maybe later I´ll make also a red one.

2) Plywood chair. This one I made of thin plywood.

3) Flower table of plywood. I just love this and it´s my own design by the way :)

4) 1:12 scale chair. I painted the decorations because I wanted the same style as in the seat fabric.

These items have already found their places in my houses :)
